Green
Valley Christian Home School ministry firmly believes the Biblical principle that parents are given the
primary responsibility by God for educating and training their children. The purpose of
establishing a Home School ministry is to provide covering, support,
encouragement, responsibility, and accountability for Christian families who choose to
educate their children in a home environment. |
The
Green Valley Christian Home School program consists of:
- Education that occurs in the home
- On campus events scheduled for home school parents to come together and
provide group learning
- Participation in regular school activities on campus such as Praise and
Worship,
after school sports, band, choir, and other curricular activities.

1. Complete the student
application and return it to the school office.
2. All new
applicants must have an interview with the director. It is mandated that
both parents attend the interview along with the school-age child(ren). The
director will call to set up an appointment time.
3. We believe it
is valuable for you to have the support of your local pastor in your
home schooling efforts. Parents will need to ask their pastor to complete the
Pastoral Reference Form and return it to the school office.
4. After a family has been
accepted into the program parents must sign a release form authorizing GVCS to obtain the
child's cumulative records. If the child is beginning kindergarten, a cumulative
file will be started for him/her. The file will be kept at the GVCS office.
Registration fees will be due upon acceptance into our program.
5. Students must have current
health records and immunization records in their cumulative file, as required by the
