Green Valley Christian Homeschool Department

It is our belief that parents/caregivers are the primary educators in a child's life and we support families who God has called to educate their children at home.  Green Valley’s homeschool programs are intended to provide creative and fun learning strategies that structure high-quality educational activities in collaborative learning communities. 

It’s fun to raise disciples together in a community of faithful friends. Green Valley Christian School is an advocate and support resource for homeschooling families through our fellowship, educational lessons, and extracurricular activities. 2026-2027 Homeschool Programs:

  1. Registered GVCS Homeschool Student

    • A registered GVCS homeschool student has access to standardized testing, report cards, student photos, and weekly chapel.

    • Registration is $425 dollars per year ($25 of that, is a non-refundable processing fee).

    • Registration is due by August 1, 2026.

2. Green Valley Christian Homeschool Club

The Club’s membership is for ages 4-11 and includes:

  • All-day educational school seminars at Green Valley Christian School every Tuesday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. *See the 2026 - 2027 Homeschool Academic Menu below.

  • Weekly Chapel in partnership with Green Valley Christian Church.

  • One GVCS shirt per student.

  • Access to school sports fields, gym, and playgrounds on club days and also for scheduled small group events (pending availability & Principal approved).

  • Access to GVCS field trips and activities.

  • Access to school events, student performances, & socials.

  • One yearbook (published in May).

  • End-of-Year Awards Ceremony (Friday, May 28, 2027).

Family and parent-engagement is a top indicator of student success. Although not required, parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend and participate at The Club’s activities. We value you, your time, and your contributions. Please pray about how God can work through you to build-up our students with your unique gifts and blessings at GVCS.

The club will join the GVCS’ academic theme of Fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23). Each Tuesday, the Club’s 8:30 am - 2:30 PM schedule includes:

TUESDAYS

8:30 AM; School Assembly

9:00 AM; Weekly Tuesday Chapel

9:45 AM; Classical Christian education & Biblical studies incorporated with Spanish learning and healthy snacks (included)

12:00 PM; Lunchtime before recess

1:00 PM; Music Lessons (fall months) and Art Lessons (spring months)

2:00 PM; Physical Education and Service Learning Activities

Registration’s Membership:

  • $300 per month, or $2,700 for an annual membership (10% discount) which includes membership from Aug 11, 2026 - May 31, 2027.

  • Email parent & child’s names, child age(s), and days/times to schedule a phone call to Principal Tara Dent at Drdent@greenvalleyschool.org.

  • Additional 10% off club Memberships for multiple children


What to bring to The Club

Homeschool Club students should bring lunches, water bottles, a sweater, hat, and a cheerful heart ready to learn and have fun. Parents should bring lots of positive energy, helpful hands, and powerful prayers.
